During my time at Google Brand Studio I was part of a larger team that was (and is) creating overall brand guidelines for web, type and photography across the entire brand. My title was officially Photo Art Director, but I also collaborated with UX, Web Designers and Strategy on the site. As a Photo AD we were tasked with weaving a narrative from a list of tech specs given to us from the product team. These images would not only be used on store.google.com but also on the effort to define what it means for photography and video to be "Googly".
